A combination of slab-built and slipcast vases and dishes form Tessa Wolfe Murray's batch production. The present range is made from white earthenware clay and is based on her slip-decorated, smoke fired surfaces which have been in production since 1990.

The influence of shapes comes from drawing museum artefacts, shields, church plate, Japanese kimonos resulting in a range of elliptical forms. Decoration is drawn from observing layering effects found in the eroding surfaces of decaying city landscapes and seaside flotsam.

This is achieved with a combination of strong brush stroked and finely sprayed slip, finished by smoke firing the high fired surface.
